10. The display returns to the start of the Set Reader Mode command.
11. Press to step to the Set Serial command.

Once a Hand Reader has been assigned master Hand Reader status its standard
display changes slightly (see below), providing a visual indicator that this is the
master Hand Reader – the dashes on the top line change to equal signs.
