Add User
The following instructions demonstrate how to enroll (add) a user, assigning that user
ID number 123.
1. Enter the Enrollment command menu per the instructions in the Enter a Command
Menu section above. The default password for the Enrollment menu is “4.” When
you enter the Enrollment command menu the Add User option appears on the dis-
play.
2. Press to exit the command menu.

3. Press to skip to the Remove User command.

4. Press to Add a User. The ID number request appears on the display.
5. Enter the user’s ID. For this example, press . The Place Hand
request appears on the display.
6. Place your hand on the platen per the guidelines for proper hand placement given
in the Proper Hand Placement section above. When the hand placement guidelines
are met, the Hand Reader reads the hand. When the read is complete the Remove
Hand request appears on the display.
