The following sections describe all the Service menu options. All commands are
described in the order they are accessed. Locate the command you need to perform and
step through all previous commands until you reach the desired command.
Calibrate
The Calibrate command verify that the Hand Reader’s exposure values are within
normal operating parameters. The normal operating parameters are shown in Table 10.
The following instructions demonstrate how to Calibrate a Hand Reader.
1. Enter the Service command menu per the instructions in the Enter a Command
Menu section above. The default password for the Service menu is “1.” When you
enter the Service command menu the Calibrate command appears on the display.
2. Press to exit the command menu.

3. Press to skip to the Status Display command.

4. Press to Calibrate the Hand Reader. The Hand Reader’s display appears as
follows.
