Data From Network
The Data from Network command allows the master Hand Reader to receive
information from a Hand Reader on the network. This is used to transmit user
enrollment and system configuration information from an existing Hand Reader to the
master Hand Reader.
The following instructions demonstrate how to transmit data from a Hand Reader on
the network to the master Hand Reader.
1. When you enter the Data from Network command the display appears as follows.

3. Press to skip to the Data to Network command.

4. Press to receive Data from the Network. The display appears as follows.
5. Enter the address of the Hand Reader from which data should be received. For
example, to receive data from the Hand Reader with address 2, press

6. The display appears as follows.
7. The number of banks of data sent to the master Hand Reader depends upon the
amount of data stored in the selected reader – the more the data, the greater the
number of banks of data. When complete, the Data from Network command
reappears on the display.
