Set Facility
Set the Facility Code to match the code expected by the access control panel. This
command is unnecessary (and should be left at its default value) if the output mode is
set to Lock and Auxiliary Output Mode. The default facility code value is 50.
The following instructions demonstrate how to change the Hand Reader’s facility code
to 125.
1. When you enter the Set Facility command the display appears as follows.
2. Press to exit the command menu.
– or –
3. Press to keep the current Facility Code and skip to the Set Lock and Shunt
command.
– or –
4. Press to Set the Facility Code. The current Facility Code appears on the
display.
5. Press to set the facility code to 125. The display returns to the
start of the Set Facility command.
6. Press to step to the Set Lock and Shunt command.
– or –
7. Press to exit command mode.
