1. QUICK START-UP GUIDE
This document contains summary information for the machine to start. Detailed recommendations are contained in the Maintenance Manual attachment
that we invite you to consult.
Contact ON/OFF (7/8) : Completely switches the machine on and off (it does not affect the consent circulator control L-K). The unit is equipped with a
closed ON/OFF contact from an electrical jumper. Should a remote ON/OFF selector be installed, the electrical jumper between 7/8 must be removed
and the remote control must be connected. In the event of KCTR installation, the ON/OFF contact must be closed from an electrical jumper.
Pump P1 Input (L-K): activates the internal circulator required to operate without KCTR. It can be used as a control to activate the machine if a room
thermostat is used. If input (L-K) is closed from the electrical jumper, the circulator on the machine will always be on, even after executing Off from KCTR.
Work temperature Set Point: The machine is set to work with set point 1, meaning the one regarding the radiant applications (low temperature). Should
the unit be applied to a fan-coil (high pressure) application system, Set Point 2 (13/14) contact must be closed. For mixed systems with radiant terminals
(low temperature) and fan-coil terminals (high temperature), Set Point 2 must be activated by closing contact (13/14). However, a mixing valve must be
used in order to prevent very hot or very cold water from being sent to the radiant terminals.
DHW Production: It can be executed by means of a temperature probe connected to the end of the terminal (5/6) or a thermostat contact between
terminals (5/6). The unit must be set to operate with the probe or thermostat. For correct installation, refer to the relevant paragraph in this manual.

Activation of the radiant terminal mode (Low temperature) or Fan coil (High temperature)
Heat or chiller pump mode: changing the mode of operation can be done either via USER INTERFACE (and KCTR if installed) (par 101 = 0), or by
using external contact terminals 11/12 (par 101 = 101 = 0 or 1).
