SP5 Mode Number Function and [Setting]
5501* 2* Original Count Alarm Sets the alarm to sound after the specified total
number of originals goes through the ARDF.
0: Disabled, 1: Enabled
0: No alarm sounds
1: Alarm sounds after the number of originals
passing through the ARDF ≥ 10,000
5504* Jam Alarm Sets the alarm to sound for the specified jam level
(document mis-feeds are not included). DFU
[0~3 / 3 / 1 step]
0: Zero (Off)
1: Low (2.5K jams)
2: Medium (3K jams)
3: High (6K jams)
5505* Error Alarm
Sets the error alarm level. Japan only
[0~255 / ACV / 100 copies per step]
5507* 1* Paper Supply Alarm
Switches the control call on/off for the paper
supply. DFU
0: Off, 1: On
0: No alarm.
1: Sets the alarm to sound for the specified
number transfer sheets for each paper size
(A3, A4, B4, B5, DLT, LG, LT, HLT)
2* Staple Supply Alarm Switches the control call on/off for the stapler
installed in the finisher. Japan only
0: Off, 1: On
0: No alarm
1: Alarm goes off for every 1K of staples used.
3* Toner Supply Alarm
Switches the control call on/off for the toner end.

0: Off, 1: On
If you select “1” the alarm will sound when the
copier detects toner end.
