Update is not required if the current version is V1.1 or newer.
Step1-2.
Do the Fiery System Installation using the following versions.
See section "Fiery System Installation" of the service manual.
- System Software DVD Version1.1
- User Software DVD Version1.1
Note
"Fiery System Installation" will take approximately 60min. It is recommended to
update the Fiery and the mainframe simultaneously.
2. Mainframe
After completing the installation and confirming the proper function of the
system, proceed to “Step 2-1” below.
Step2-1.
Confirm the current "System" version in SP7801.
Proceed to "Step 2-2" if the current version is either V1.02 or V1.03.
Update is not required if the current version is V1.05 or newer.
Step2-2.
Update the following 6 firmwares concurrently.
See section "Firmware Update Procedure" of the service manual.
