• Do not place the machine on an unstable surface, such as on an unstable stand or inclined surface. An injury may
occur if the machine falls.
• Keep the machine away from dusty or humid environments. Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.
• Install the machine near the electrical outlet to avoid using an extension cord between the machine and the
electrical outlet.
About installation site
• Your dealer (or authorized service representative) will help you to determine a proper location for the machine at the time of
delivery.
• The machine should be installed in a fixed location. If you would like to move the machine, contact your dealer (or authorized
service representative).
• Avoid installing the machine in the locations listed below. Failure to observe this precaution may lead to machine failure.
- Locations with exposure to direct sunlight, such as locations close to windows (Curtain all windows that may expose the
machine to direct sunlight)
- Locations that are subject to sudden changes in temperature
- Extremely hot and humid locations or cold and dry locations
- Heated locations
- Locations with exposure to direct cold air, direct hot air, or direct radiant heat
- Locations of poor permeability and ventilation
• The space between the Paper Receiving Tray side (right side) of the machine and
the right most edge of the stand (ex. table) should be no more than 15 cm.
Otherwise, the Paper Receiving Tray will hit the surface of the stand, and cannot
be positioned correctly.
Operation Environment
• Place the machine on a flat surface. (Levelness: front to back within 10 mm , right
to left within 10 mm)
• Operate the machine under the following appropriate environment conditions.
Temperature range: 15 °C to 30 °C
Humidity range: 40% to 70% (non-condensing)
