Troubleshooting
Actions using the Printer Driver
The machine does not print
Status Possible cause Action
The <Delete Job> indicator lights but it
does not carry out master-making.
The data output from the computer
may not have finished.
The print job may not have finished in
the application software.
• Double click RISO A2 Series in the
[Device and Printers] folder to check
if the data output has finished.
• Until the data output from the
computer has finished, leave the
screen saver turned off.
The print job has been cancelled before
completion in the application software
on the computer.
Turn off the power switch on the
machine.
After approximately10 seconds, turn
on the printer again.
The printer cable may be
disconnected.
Cancel the output from the computer.
Turn off the power switch on the
machine. Connect the printer cable
firmly, and then turn on the power
switch again.
The machine settings in the application
software (such as paper size, print
direction, and Printer Driver selection)
may not match those in the Printer
Driver.
Match the machine setting in the
application software with the setting in
the Printer Driver.

The machine repeats the master-
making process for each copy of the
same page.
The [Collate Copies] check box is
selected in the [Print] dialog box in the
application software.
• Uncheck [Collate Copies] from the
[Print] dialog box.
• Cancel the output from the
computer. Turn off the power switch
on the machine. After approximately
10 seconds, turn it on again.
Master-making does not start even
when the data is transmitted from the
computer.
[Auto switch to master-making] setting on
the machine may be turned off.
Press the <Start> key to start the print
process.
The Printer Driver may not be set to the
printer in use.
Set the Printer Driver for the machine in
use, and then start printing again.

Open the RISO Printer Driver in the
[Device and Printers] folder. The data
may be in [Print Queue] or [Printing].
Wait until the data output from the
computer is complete.
Processing may take longer depending
on the performance of the computer
(such as CPU, computer memory, etc.).
