The sweep range, sweep spacing and dwell time are set in the bottom section.
The sweep range of the RF sweep can be entered in two ways, either by entering the Start and Stop
value or by entering the Center and Span. The two sets of parameters influence each other in the
following way:
Start = (Center - Span/2)
Stop = (Center + Span/2)
Center = (Start + Stop)/2
Span = (Stop - Start)
State – RF Frequency
Sweep
Activates/deactivates RF sweep mode.
Note:
Activating the RF frequency sweep automatically deactivates the
Level sweep and LF frequency sweep.
Remote-control commands:
SOUR:FREQ:MODE SWE
SOUR:FREQ:MODE CW
Mode – RF Frequency
Sweep
Selects the Sweep instrument operating mode and the Sweep mode.
Auto
Sets an automatic repeated sweep cycle. If a
different sweep mode was activated prior to the
Auto mode, the cycle starts at the beginning.
The Reset button resets the sweep to the start
frequency.
