The sweep range, sweep spacing, dwell time and the external trigger slope are set in the bottom
section.
Start Freq - LF Sweep
Sets the start frequency.
Remote-control command:
SOUR:LFO:FREQ:STAR 100kHz
Stop Freq - LF Sweep
Sets the stop frequency.
Remote-control command:
SOUR:LFO:FREQ:STOP 50kHz
Current Freq - LF Sweep
Displays the current frequency.
If Step is set, the frequency for the next frequency step of the sweep
is entered here.
Remote-control command
SOUR:LFO:FREQ:MAN 15 kHz
Spacing - LF Sweep
Selects linear or logarithmic sweep spacing.
Remote-control command:
SOUR:LFO:SWE:FREQ:SPAC LIN | LOG
Step Lin/Log - LF Sweep
Sets the step width for the individual sweep steps. This entry is
effective for all sweep modes.
Step Lin or Step Log is displayed depending on whether Spacing
Lin or Log is selected.
Step Lin
With the linear sweep, the step width is a fixed
frequency value which is added to the current
frequency. The linear step width is entered in Hz.
Remote-control command:
SOUR:LFO:SWE:FREQ:STEP:LIN 1 kHz
Step Log
With the logarithmic sweep, the step width is a
constant fraction of the current frequency. This
fraction is added to the current frequency. The
logarithmic step width is entered in %.
Remote-control command:
SOUR:LFO:SWE:FREQ:STEP:LOG 1 PCT
Dwell Time - LF Sweep
Sets the dwell time. The dwell time determines the duration of the
individual sweep steps.
Note:
It is recommended to switch off the GUI update for optimum sweep
performance especially with short dwell times.
