❈ When the actual capacity of indoor unit is lower than the load, it is recommended to reselect the one with a larger
capacity. But it is ultimately depend on DVM designer’s own discretion.
❈ In other words, if the actual capacity of indoor units is not greatly lower than the load or it is rather rare to simultaneously
operate indoor, the capacity of indoor unit can sufficiently meet cooling and heating load.
6) Comparison between the actual capacity of each indoor unit & cooling and heating load
Ô Here, the calculated actual capacity is the one that is obtained when all indoor units are in operation at the
same time.
7) When indoor unit is reselected as it fails to satisfy the required load
➊ In this example, indoor units at the zone A, D, E, F fails to meet the load.
❷ If DVM designer is to replace these units with indoor unit of a larger capacity, return to 5-2-2 to repeat the process.
8) Draw piping, power and communication wiring design diagrams
Ô Upon completion of indoor and outdoor unit selection, draw piping, power and communication wiring design
diagrams for installation
➊ Piping
- Get the piping lengths per each size
- Secure the model names and quantities number of subsidiary materials for piping
- Obtain drain piping specifications
❷ Power
- Get the volumes of MCCB, ELB according to product power supply
- Understand power line specification & its length
❸ Communication
- Understand communication line specification & its length
