Recommended care
For best performance and reliable
usage, the analyzer requires periodic
cleaning�
Danger
Before beginning the cleaning process:
§ The analyzer must be disconnected
from the power source�
§ Allow the analyzer to cool down for
30 minutes�
§ Take care during cleaning not to spill
any liquid into the analyzer�
§ The I/O connections on the back of the
analyzer may not come into contact
with liquids�
§ Do not immerse the analyzer in water or
any other cleaning solution�
Regular cleaning of the analyzer with a
mild detergent and a soft cloth should
include the following:
§ Clean the outer surface of the analyzer�
§ Carefully remove and clean the pan
support and pan shield�
§ Keep all warning labels clean�
§ Wipe dust from the interior of the
stainless steel heater housing�
§ Remove and clean the recessed area
under the pan shield:
Remove the pan support and pan
shield�
Remove the two screws holding the
perforated plate�
Be careful not to spill liquid or solid
debris down the center hole where
the balance pan receiver protrudes�
