5.3.7 USB PGU interface for programming device connection
For the USB interface (type B) of the PCD3.Mxxx0 to be
used, PG5 version 1.3.100 or later must be installed.
WhenaPCD3.MxxxxisconnectedtoaPCforthersttimeviatheUSBinterface,
the operating system of the PC automatically installs the relevant USB driver.
To establish a connection with a Saia PCD
®
via USB, the following settings must
be made in the online settings of the PG5 project:
The activation of the PGU option ensures that the PCD3.Mxxxx connected directly
tothePCcanbecommunicatedindependentlyoftheconguredS-Busaddress.
