8 Safety-related check
To safeguard the safety functions implemented,
the parameters and operators must be checked and documented
by the user after completion of commissioning and parameter configuration. Support for this
task
is provided by the parameter configuration software SafePLC2 (see Programming manual).
General information on the installation can be provided on the first two pages.
On the pages of the validation report that follow, all functions used and their parameters are
printed out as itemised evidence of the safety-related check.
After the transfer of the configuration and program data to the PSC1-C-100 module, the status
LED flashes yellow. This indication indicates that the configuration data have not yet been
validated.
When you click the "KONFIGURATION SPERREN" (LOCK CONFIGURATION) button at the
end of the validation dialogue box, the data are marked as "validated" and the LED flashes
"green".
