4.2. Viewing Recorded Video
To playback video:
1. If the DVR is not recording, press the
PLAY button to start playback of the
recorded video and audio.
2. During playback or when the video is stopped, press the
REV.PLAY button to
start playing the video in reverse.
MENU • Press the MENU button to enter the main menu of the DVR. The menus can be entered in
Live, Record, or Playback mode. Several program options can only be changed when
entering the menus from Live mode. For example, if the DVR is recording and you enter the
menus, the Record Quality cannot be changed. Press the
STOP button to stop the recording
and then enter the menus to change recording parameters.
• Press the
MENU button at the main menu to exit the menu system and return to the previous
display mode and operation.
REC (CH1) • Press the REC button to start the DVR recording if the DVR is not playing video or in the
menus. When the DVR is recording, the
REC button is illuminated.
• Press
CH1 with the FULL button to select Camera 1 (CH1).
REV.PLAY (CH2) • During playback or when the video is stopped, press the REV.PLAY button to start playing
the video in reverse.
• Press
CH2 with the FULL button to select Camera 2 (CH2).
STOP (CH3) • Press the STOP button stops the DVR from recording or playing. If the DVR is recording,
pressing the
STOP button allows about five seconds before the DVR starts recording again.
During this time, you can enter the menus, start to play back video, or copy video to the
USB memory card.
• Press
CH3 with the FULL button to select Camera 3 (CH3).
PLAY (CH4) • If the DVR is not recording, press the PLAY button to start playback of the recorded video
and audio.
• Press
CH4 with the FULL button to select Camera 4 (CH4)
PAUSE (5) • Press the PAUSE button to pause the video playback and provide a still frame video image.
SEARCH (6) • Press the SEARCH button for a power search function that lets you quickly find the desired
information. Exit the Search menu by pressing the
MENU button. See “4.5.3. Using the
Search function” on page 4–7.
COPY (7) • Press the COPY button to go to the Copy menu. Exit the Copy menu by pressing the MENU
button.
ENTER/ONE-
TOUCH/(8)
• While configuring in the menu mode, the
ENTER button acts as the ENTER key. Press the
ENTER button to navigate to the selected sub-menu.
• Press the
ONE-TOUCH button to start One-touch download. See “4.5.2. Using the ONE-
TOUCH Download option” on page 4–6.
