4.5.3.1. Searching for Recording Information BY EVENT
If
BY EVENT is chosen, the DATE and TIME fields cannot be changed.
See Table 4-3.
To search for recorded information
BY EVENT:
1. Choose the Event type.
2. Press the
ONE-TOUCH button to bring up a list of events, which includes both
alarms and regular recordings.
3. Turn the
SHUTTLE wheel clockwise or counter clockwise to view the next or
previous page of events.
4. To move through the list of events line by line, turn the
JOG wheel clockwise
or counter clockwise.
5. To search for a specific page number, press the
SEARCH button to bring up the
option to go to another page of events.
6. Turn the
JOG wheel to change the page numbers, and then press the ENTER
button to go to that page.
7. When the desired event has been chosen, press the
ONE-TOUCH button to
begin playing that event.
Several different types of events may be listed, as described in Table 4-2.
4.5.3.2. Searching for Recorded Information BY TIME/DATE
If
BY TIME/DATE is chosen, the Event field cannot be changed.
To search for recorded information
BY TIME/DATE:
1. Enter the desired
DATE and TIME.
2. Press the
ONE-TOUCH button to begin playing from that time and date (or the
closest recorded video after that time and date).
3. Turn the
SHUTTLE wheel clockwise or counter clockwise to view the next or
previous page of events.

N (Normal) A normal recording session, started with the vehicle
ignition.
T01–T12 (Timer 1 to 12) Recording controlled by an internal timer
A01(Alarm 1) An alarm event triggered by Alarm 1.
A02 (Alarm 2)
A03 (Alarm 3)
A04 (Alarm 4)
Alarm events triggered by Alarms 2, 3, or 4, available with
EX4 DVR only.
PL (Power loss) Similar to an alarm event, triggered by the unexpected loss
of power to the DVR.
Video loss Triggered by the loss of a camera signal.
RN Recording after a power loss.
