4.5.5. Turning the Buzzer Off
To turn the buzzer off:
1. Press the
ENTER button to silence the buzzer.
2. Check your configuration settings in the
SYSTEM menu to see which buzzer
settings have been set to
ON.
4.5.6. Using the LOCK Button
The front keypad on the DVR can be manually locked or unlocked by using the
LOCK button or by changing the Password Enable settings in the System menu.
See “3.2.10. Using the System Menu” on page 3–24.
If the Password Enable option is set to
ON (enabled), the front keypad is locked
out and pressing the
LOCK button has no affect. This works in Live mode, Record
mode or Alarm Record mode.
To lock out the front panel keypad if the Password Enable option is
OFF:
1. Press the
LOCK button for 3 seconds.
The red LED on the
LOCK button illuminates.
2. To disable the lock, enter the password while pressing the
FULL button.
The red LED on the
LOCK button is not illuminated.
START DATE START DATE and START TIME, as well as the
END DATE and END TIME select the length of
time to be saved to the USB memory device.
Long video segments may take a considerable
amount of time to copy to the USB memory
device. The size of the video file is dependent
on the Quality, Speed, and Resolution of the
recorded video.
