Opening the
top panel
Danger
Before opening the top panel, switch off the splicer and disconnect the power supply.
Caution
Under no circumstances should you touch any of the electrical components on the un-
derside of the top panel. These components could be damaged by electrostatic dis-
charge (ESD).
- Loosen the four bolts (1) using the screwdriver from the toolset.
- Lift off the top panel using the handles.
Lifting Off the Top Panel
The top panel is closed in the reverse sequence of steps.
