Fiber guide

Insert the fiber into the fiber guide so that the coating stripping edge lies within the
marking (A) (see figure).

Closing the
flaps
- Close the flap of the fiber holder.
- Insert the second fiber in the same way (procedure as described from "Opening the
flaps" onwards).
- Now close the electrode flap.
Note
To prevent the optical fibers becoming dirty, perform steps "Cleaning", "Stripping" and
"Inserting into the Splicer" one immediately after the other.
