Communicating with PC Applications
over a CSTA Interface
If this function has been configured (ask your service
personnel), you can use your telephone to communica-
te with PC applications (CSTA = Computer Supported
Telecommunications Applications). You send informati-
on to the application and receive information from the
application, for example, on your telephone's display.

FCN Press the display key.
q OK Select "Data I/O Service". (Storing a Function in the FCN
List Æ Page 70).
~ Enter the three-digit ID for the application you want to
operate.

Q ... O, p Use the relevant keys to communicate with the applica-
tion.
Temporarily interrupting communication with the
application
c The handset is ringing. You accept the call.
LED icon is flashing: communication with the applicati-
on was automatically interrupted.
Resuming communication with the application
FCN Press the display key.
q OK LED icon is flashing. Select and confirm "Data I/O Ser-
vice". LED icon is red.
Ending communication with the application
r OK Select and confirm the appropriate CSTA message.

ca Lift and replace the handset.
