3.2.1.2 Ambient conditions for operation
The PFA-100 System may be operated under the following ambient
conditions:
• Only use indoors
• Altitude up to 2000m
• Temperature range: 18°C to 29°C
• Maximum relative humidity in the permissible temperature range:
20% to 90% RH (non-condensing)
• Voltage fluctuations in the mains supply not greater than ±10% of the
rated voltage
• Transient overvoltages as they usually occur in the mains supply
• Low as possible an influence on the analyzer by steam, solvents and
acid fumes
• Protect against direct exposure to sunlight.
Note: The recommended storage temperature for the analyzer is
between -29°C and 50°C. The Non-operating storage and
transportation humidity is between 0% and 95% RH.
WARNING
False results or delayed results due to incorrect functioning of the
analyzer.
Death or serious injury to the patient can result.
• Only operate the analyzer under the conditions specified below.
Note: The degree of protection for the PFA-100 System housing
corresponds to IP20 according to IEC 60529.
