7 Setup and changing configuration
This chapter contains information about:
• The priming of the analyzer (Chapter 7.1)
• The setup of the software (Chapter 7.2)
• The configuration of the analyzer (Chapter 7.3)
7.1 Priming the analyzer
To prime the analyzer, proceed as follows:
1. Ensure trigger solution and a priming cartridge (blue cartridge with no
foil on top) is installed in the analyzer.

Contamination of the incubation block with trigger solution due to a
defective priming cartridge.
• Check that the aluminum foil at the bottom of the priming cartridge is
intact.
• Check the priming cartridge for scratches, marks, or debris and replace
or clean it, if required.
• Change the priming cartridges periodically, depending on their
condition.
Note: Save the blue priming cartridge for future use.
