8.2.3 Two test types, different patient ID
To perform two test types for different patient IDs, proceed as follows:
1. Press the softkey located next to Run on the System Ready display.
2. Use the numeric keypad or the optional barcode scanner to enter the
patient ID (maximum 12 characters) for the sample loaded in position A
(left position).
3. To modify the patient ID, use the < key to erase it, then enter the correct
number.
4. Press the softkey located next to Run.
 The system will then prompt for the patient ID number related to the
PFA test cartridge loaded in position B (right position).
5. Use the numeric keypad or the optional barcode scanner to enter the
patient ID for the sample loaded in position B (right position).
6. To modify the patient ID, use the < key to erase it, then enter the correct
number.
WARNING
False results due to mix-up of patient samples.
Death or serious injury to the patient can result.
• Make sure to assign the PFA test cartridge position to the correct
patient.
