7.3.1 Low/high flag ranges
This option, if enabled, will flag patient results that fall above (High Flag)
and below (Low Flag) the laboratory's established reference range. The
high and low values (flags) are set by the operator. The high and low values
must be between 0-300. Any test result that falls above or below the set
values will be flagged on the printout with an asterisk (*).
To select the flag ranges, proceed as follows:
1. From the System Ready display, press the softkey located next to
Menus.
2. Press the numeric key 3 to select the Setup option.
3. Press the numeric key 2 to select the Set Defaults option.
4. Press the numeric key 1 to select the Flags to set the above (High Flag)
and below (Low Flag) values at which a test result will be flagged with
an asterisk (*) on the result printout.
