6 Description of the analyzer

Software upgrade slot The software upgrade slot is used to update the software of the analyzer by
inserting a PCMCIA card into the slot. When the analyzer is powered on,
the software is loaded automatically. When the update is completed, the
user is instructed to remove the PCMCIA card. To perform a software
upgrade, contact Siemens service.
