4. Resuspend the whole blood sample by gently inverting the collection
tube 3-4 times by hand.
5. Holding the cassette with PFA test cartridge(s) on a flat surface, pipette
800µL of sample into the smaller opening (sample reservoir opening) of
the PFA test cartridge.
6. Place the cassette with the PFA test cartridge(s) into the incubation
well(s) of the analyzer so that the cassette is flush to the carousel
surface. Do not apply pressure to the sample reservoir opening.
The test can now be started.
CAUTION
No result or delay of results due to missing blood sample or incorrect
preparation of blood samples.
Minor or moderate injury to the patient can result.
Make sure the blood sample is properly pipetted into the PFA test
cartridge.
NOTICE
When a PFA test cartridge is processed without a blood sample, the
PFA test cartridge will be unusable afterwards.
Make sure the blood sample is pipetted into the PFA test cartridge.

Note: To minimize the risk of trapping an air bubble, place the tip of the
pipette against one of the inside corners of the opening while slowly
pipetting in the sample.
