17.4.2 Set Password
Set Password
Password protection: Indicates whether password protection is activated or deactivated.
Password: In this field, you can assign a password for SIMOCODE pro. Protection in the
basic unit is activated/deactivated with "Set/Remove Password".
To switch password protection off, you must enter the correct password in the "Password"
field.
Parameters can only be saved or exported from the basic unit when protection is
deactivated.
17.4.3 Change Password
Change Password
In this dialog box, you can change an already assigned password for SIMOCODE pro.
To change the password, enter the old password and the new password and click on the
"Change Password" button.
Note
If you do not know the password, parameters can only be changed by "Resetting the Basic
Factory Default Settings with Test/Reset at the basic unit".
The current parameters (including Password ) will be reset to he basic factory default
settings.
