11.6 OPC-UA Send Data
11.6.1 OPC-UA Send Data
In this dialog you can connect each of the inputs (plugs) to a socket. To do so, choose the
appropriate socket in the scroll boxes.
In addition to "Cyclic Send" it is possible to transfer a further 16 bits of binary information via
OPC UA.
With the "OPC UA Send" function block, you can specify which information is to be
transferred. The inputs (plugs) of the function blocks must be connected to the respective
sockets
The OPC-UA Send function blocks consist of:
● 8 bits each (2 bytes, byte 0 and byte 1 for binary information).

Cyclic Send Data
The Cyclic Send function blocks allow you to specify the information to be transferred to the
automation system via PROFINET.
Cyclic Send function blocks consist of:
● 8 bits each (2 bytes, byte 0 and byte 1 for binary information).
● 9 words (= 18 bytes, byte 2 to 19 for nine analog values, freely parameterizable).
In total, there are available 5 Cyclic Send function blocks (0, 1, 2/3, 4/9, 10/19).
