Note
• If the RDSYSST-SFC51 call is suppressed during a temporary error state by setting RST_ERR
= 0, the call is terminated, and the error status will be updated in output parameter
RDSTATUS.
• The exclusive reset( RST_ERR = 1) can be triggered irrespective of a temporary or permanent
error. This provides the option to reset the RDSYSST-SFC51 calls to ensure there is no active
call occupying the CPU's work memory.
• If the output parameter is not 16#7000, the user has to execute an exclusive reset until the
output parameters reects 16#7000.
3.1.8 I / O access error
From the viewpoint of the I / O conguration, SIMOCODE-DP is a "compact" DP Slave, i.e. it always
has a xed I / O conguration. If there is an I / O access error (OB85 interrupt) is detected,
therefore, a general DP Slave failure is assumed, and indicated. In this case, no further I / O access
errors are evaluated.
3.1.9 Diagnostic data reading
No slave diagnostic data are read.
3.1.10 Error handling
The block evaluates the error information from ALARM_8P and writes this information to output
parameter MSG_STAT.
3.1.11 Messages
If there is a module error, the SIMODIAG block uses the Alarm_8P block to generate a message.
Rack failures are indicated by OB_DIAG1 /OB_DIAG1_PN. The output of messages is enabled on
input EN_MSG.
3.1.12 Operator control and monitoring
There is no operator interface for the block.
