Setup Advanced
Network
With these settings you can set up the basic network settings of
your phone. The web interface for this looks like the following:
DHCP: Turn the use of DHCP on or off with this option. For
further information, see our white paper regarding DHCP on our website.
IP address: You can change the IP address of the device through
this setting. This parameter is mandatory in order to enable the Ethernet
connection.
Netmask: Change the netmask for the device.
Phone name: Change the Hostname of the phone here. If
this parameter is available, it is used for identifying the device in SIP
signalling.
IP Gateway: This setting shows the IP address of the default IP
gateway (NOT the VoIP gateway). It is the address to which the packets
get routed when the desired packet address is not in the current subnet.
Setting up this parameter is mandatory in order to reach an external
network.
