Viewing images recorded on " Memory Stick" s on your computer
If you cannot install the USB driver
The USB driver has been registered incorrectly as your computer was connected to your
camcorder before installation of the USB driver was completed. Perform the [Mlowing
procedure to correctly install the USB driver.
Step1: Uninstall the incorrect USB driver
(_) Turn on your computer and allow Windows to load.
@ Insert a" Memory Stick" into your camcorder.
@ Connect the AC power adaptor, and set tile POWER switch to MEMORY.
@ Connect the USB connector on your computer to tile t_ (USB) jack on your
camcorder using the USB cable supplied with your camcorder.
(_) Open your computer's" Device Manageff.
Windows 2000 Professional:
Select "My Computeff -4." Control PaneF _*" Hardware _ tab, and click tile
Device Manager" button.
Other OS:
Select ¢ My Computer" _*" Control PaneF --*" System", and click" Device
Manager".
(_) Select ¢ Other devices _.
Select tile device prefixed with the _T mark and delete.
Ex: (?)So[ly Camcorder
(Z) Turn the POWER switch to OFF (CHG), and then disconnect tile USB cable.
@ Restart your computer.
Step2: Mstall the USB driver on the CDwROM
Perform the entire procedure described in" Installing the USB driver" on page 156.
