Quickly locating a scene
- ZERO SET MEMORY
Your camcorder goes forward or backward to automatically stop at a desired scene
having a tape counter value of" 0:00:00".
Use the Remote Commander for this operation.
Use this function, for example, to view a desired scene later on during playback.
(1) In the playback mode, press DISPLAY.
(2) Press ZERO SET MEMORY at tile point you want to locate later. Tile tape
counter shows" 0:00:O0 _ and tile ZERO SET MEMORY indicator flashes on the
screen.
(3) Press when you want to stop playback.
(4) Press _ to rewind the tape to the counter's zero point. The tape stops
automatically when tile counter reaches approximately zero. The ZERO SET
MEMORY indicator disappears, and the time code appears.
(5) Press 11,--. Playback starts from tile counter's zero point.

Notes
The zero set memory function works only for tapes recorded ill the Digital8 [1 system.
When you press ZERO SET MEMORY before rewinding the tape, the zero set memory
function is canceled.
There may be a discrepancy of several seconds from the time code.
If a tape has a blank portion between recorded portions
The zero set memory function may not work correctly.
