4004 – Drive braking time exceeded
Press OK to release
Possible cause:
– Error in the programme sequence
– Wire routing incorrect
– Obstacles in the area of the perimeter 
wire
Remedy:
– Confirm message with OK
– Check wire routing, especially in the 
area of the corners, using the 
iMOW® Ruler (Ö 12.5)
– Remove obstacles
Message:
4005 – Blade braking time exceeded
Please OK to release
Possible cause:
– Error in the programme sequence
– Signal collapse (e.g. due to a power 
failure) during automatic mowing
Remedy:
– Confirm message with OK
– Check power supply to the docking 
station – the red LED must be 
illuminated permanently during 
operation; then press the OK 
button (Ö 13.1)
Message:
4006 – Charging interrupted
Press OK to release
Possible cause:
– Error in programme sequence
– Power failure during charging
– Robotic mower rolled out of docking 
station
Remedy:
– Confirm message with OK
– Check power supply to docking station 
– the red LED flashes slowly when 
robotic mower is docked (Ö 13.1)
– Check that docking station is in correct 
position (Ö 9.1)
Message:
4009 – Hood sensor faulty
Press OK to release
Possible cause:
– Hood displaced
Remedy:
– Check position of the hood
– Check movement of the hood and clean 
hood mounting if necessary
– Confirm message with OK
Message:
4016 – STOP button sensor value 
deviation
Press OK to release
Possible cause:
– Error in the programme sequence
Remedy:
– Confirm message with OK
Message:
4027 – STOP button pressed
Press OK to release

– STOP button has been pressed

Fault:
The robotic mower operates at the wrong 
times
Possible cause:
– Date and time incorrectly set
– Active times incorrectly set
– Machine has been operated by 
unauthorised persons
Remedy:
– Set time and date (Ö 11.10)
– Set active times (Ö 11.7)
– Set safety level to "Medium" or "High" 
(Ö 11.16)
Fault:
The robotic mower fails to operate during 
an active time
Possible cause:
– Battery is charging
– Automatic mowing switched off
– Active time switched off
– Rain detected
– If mow plan type "Dynamic" is activated: 
weekly mowing duration has been 
reached, no further mowing operations 
required that week
– Message is active
