UTILITIES
INSTALLATION
To install the software in the PC execute the installation
program on the option disk "OLSINST.BAT".
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The software will automatically start after power-up of the PC.
These instructions are limited to the off-line support utilities,
machine operation should be referred to other manuals.
The program will start from a main menu with ten choices (F1-
F10) and are discussed in detail in sections 9.1.3-9.1.12.
TRANSFER GRIND PARAMETERS
FROM MACHINE TO DISK 'F1'
To transfer grind parameters in the 7AA to a disk file, press 'F1'
from the main menu.
Then select single or dual grind by pressing 'S' or 'D'.
You will be prompted for filename, enter 1 to 8 characters which
do not violate DOS filename regulations. The software will
assign the extension ".SGP" or ".DGP" dependent on the
parameter type selected. If the file exists the old file will be
renamed with a ".SGK" or ".DGK" extension. If a back-up copy
existed it will be deleted and lost.
After the transfer is complete the main menu will be displayed.
