D.I. WATER FLOW VALVES
Three PVC needle valves are provided for adjusting water flow
for each D.I. water solenoid valve. The flow valves are
mounted on an angle bracket just below the grind drain pan.
The valves will maintain an adjusted stream at the regulated
D.I. water pressure.
The valve arrangement is as follows as viewed from the main
cabinet door opening:
upper left - fine wheel coolant
upper right - coarse wheel coolant
lower left - work chuck rinse
Rotating the adjustment knob clockwise will reduce the flow
through each valve.
Both wheel coolant valves should always be fully open
(counterclockwise) for maximum coolant flow while grinding.
The rinse valve should be adjusted such that the water stream
strikes the center of the chuck. This will provide coverage of
the entire chuck while rotating.
