STEP 1 - MACHINE POWER UP
When all external connections to the machine are complete the
machine may be powered-up. To turn on power to the machine,
turn the door disconnect switch on the rear enclosure to "on."
Power is indicated by the red light on the disconnect door. all
safety doors and covers must be in place before machine
operation. Push the "mach on" button. the CRT will display the
machine operation menu. Turn the keyswitch to "auto" and
press the "1" key. This will display the start-up check list.
Verify that all utilities are on before proceeding. Any utility
errors will be indicated by two flashing question marks (??).
These errors must be corrected before initiating a grind cycle.
NOTE: Each utility is tested by examining a switch designed for
that particular function (e.g. pressure, flow). An exhaust switch,
which would normally be mounted in the exhaust duct
connected to the machine, is not supplied with the machine.
Therefore, the machine will display the "??" symbol for exhaust
unless a switch is installed. Two terminals are provided on the
main electrical panel for convenient connection of a two wire
normally open exhaust switch. The switch should be connected
to wires 21 and 221. If the exhaust switch function is not
desired a jumper may be installed in its place. The software will
not inhibit machine operation based on exhaust status unless
special provisions are made utilizing designated software flags
(consult the factory for details).
