Positioning the optional removable IV pole (Continued)
4. To lower the height of the pole, turn the knob (A) counterclockwise and lower the telescoping portion (B) of the pole
into the bottom tube (Figure 18 on page 30).

Illuminating the room with the night light
There are two night lights that illuminate the floor area around the product. You can find the night light switch under the
frame on the patient left side (N) (Product illustration on page 14).
To turn on the night light, turn the switch to on (Figure 19 on page 30).
To turn off the night light, turn the switch to off (Figure 19 on page 30).

Activating nurse call communication (option)
Nurse call allows the patient to send a signal to the nurse station.
To activate nurse call, press the Nurse call button (E) (see Operator control panel (outside siderail) on page 34).
Communication between the patient and the nurse station is established at the moment when the nursing staff responds
to the nurse call signal.
