11) Check the vacuum of the four cylinders.
12) If the columns of vacuum indicator are not at the
same level, adjust the throttle valves synchronizing
screws “1”, “2” and “3”.
NOTE
During balancing the throttle valves, always
set the engine idle speed, using throttle stop
screw.
Adjusting order
“1” – “2” – “3”
13) After balancing the carburetor, set the engine speed
by turning the throttle stop screw.
Engine idle speed
1 300 ± 100 r/min (E-28)
1 200 ± 100 r/min (Others)
14) Remove the digital vacuum tester, tachometer and
fuel bottle.
15) Reinstall the vacuum hose (for fuel valve) and
vacuum inlet caps.
16) Reinstall the fuel tank. Refer to “Fuel Tank Removal
and Installation: ”.
