Exhaust System: 1K-3
• Tighten the exhaust pipe bolts, muffler connecting bolt
and muffler mounting bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Exhaust pipe bolt (a): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-
ft)
Muffler connecting bolt (b): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m,
16.5 lb-ft)
Muffler mounting bolt (c): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5
lb-ft)
Exhaust System Inspection

Inspect the exhaust pipe connection and muffler
connection for exhaust gas leakage and mounting
condition. If any defect is found, replace the exhaust
pipe or muffler with a new one.
Check the exhaust pipe bolts, muffler connecting bolt
and muffler mounting bolts are tightened to their
specified torque.
Tightening torque
Exhaust pipe bolt (a): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
Muffler connecting bolt (b): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5
lb-ft)
Muffler mounting bolt (c): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-
