Inspection
L Clean all parts in solvent and dry thoroughly.
2. In spect the gearshift shaft r ClUrn spring (F igure
19 ). If broken or weak. it mu st be replaced.
3. Inspect the gearshift shaft (Figure 20) [or
bending. wear or other damage: replace if
necessary.
4. Inspect the seclor gea r teeth (Figure 21 ) on the
gea rsh ift shaft. If broken or damaged the gearshift
shaft must be replaced.
5. In spect the cam driven gear receptacle ( Figure
22) in the stopper plate for wear or damage.
Rep
la ce the stopp er plate if necessary.
6. Inspect the ramps ( Figur e 23) on the backside
of the stopper plale for wear
or damage. Replace
the stopper plate if necessary.
7. Inspect the roller ( Figur e 24) on the cnd of the
cam stopper. If worn or damaged. replace the cam
stopper.
