I. Re mo ve the sc rews (A. Fi gure 7) securing the
to p cover and remove the cover. Note the location
of the throttle cable clamp

2. Rem ove the spring ( A. Figure 8) and the
diaphragm assembly

carburetor.
3. Unscrew the pil ot air je t (Figure 9).
4. Remove the screws (Figure 10) securing the
float bowl and remove the fl oat bowl.
5. Remove th e gasket (.' ig ure 11 ) from th e float
bowl.
6. Remove the float pivot pin (A. Fig ur e 12).
7. Remove the float (8 . • 'igure 12) and needle
valve.
