Check the damper rod for straightness, Figure
65 shows one method. The damper
rod
should
be
replaced if

e runout
is
0,2
mm
(0,008 in,) or
greater,

Make sure the oil holes (Figure 66)
in
t
he
damper rod are clear. Clean out if necessary.
