• Connect the reservoir hose
5 to the connector

• Tighten the master cylinder mounting bolts
7 to the specified
torque.
• Connect the brake hose to the master cylinder.
(Rear brake hose routing: !9-21)
• Tighten the brake hose union bolt
8 to the specified torque.
# Rear master cylinder mounting bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.3 lb-ft)
Brake hose union bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
• Adjust the brake pedal height and rear brake lever. (!2-15)

* The seal washers should be replaced by the new
ones to prevent fluid leakage.
* Bleed air from the brake system after reassembling
the master cylinder. (!2-17)
