1.Raisethefrontofthemachine;refertoJackingInstructions(page1–6).
2.Removethefastenerssecuringthewheeltothecasterforkandremove
thefrontwheel.
3.Removethecasterforkgreasecap.
4.Removethelocknutfromthecasterforkspindleandslidethecasterfork
fromthemachine.
5.Removethethree(3)bellevillewashersandtheupperbearingcone.
6.Removeanddiscardthegreaseseal,thenretrievethelowerbearingcone.
7.Cleanandinspectthebearingcupsandconesforwearordamageand
replaceasnecessary.
8.Inspectthewheelassemblyforwornordamagedcomponentsandrepairor
replacethenasnecessary;refertoServicingtheFrontWheels(page7–7).
