informationonreplacingthecuttingreelmotorinChapter5ofthe5010-HServiceManual.
3.Pluginthe48Vdcbatterydisconnect.RefertoConnectingandDisconnectingthe48VdcBatterySystem
(page19).
4.Operatethemachine.
Thefaultmovestothe
newposition.
Ifthefaultfollowsthecuttingreelmotortothenewcuttingunit,replacethe
cuttingreelmotor.GotoStep6.
Thefaultrepeatsatthe
originalposition.
Ifthefaultrepeatsatthecuttingunit1position,contacttheT oroT echnical
AssistanceCenterforadditionalguidance.
Thefaultstopped
repeating.
Ifthefaultnolongerrepeats,notethepositionchangeofthecuttingreelmotor
inthemaintenancerecordsforthemachine.Shouldthefaultrepeatinthe
future,troubleshootingmayberesumedwhereyouleftoff.GotoReturningthe
MachinetoService(page22)andfollowthestepslisted.
Step6:UseToroDIAGtoprogramthereplacementcuttingreelmotor.
1.Removetheaccesspanelfromtheoutercoverofthecontrolarm.
2.ConnectaPCwithToroDIAGsoftwaretothemachineviaaToroDIAGCable(PartNo.115-1944).Refer
toToroDIAG-QuickStart(page24).
3.UsetheToroDIAGsoftwaretoreprogramthemachineinaccordancewithToroDIAGUser’sGuide.The
replacementcuttingreelmotorisprogrammedduringthereprogrammingofthemachine.
4.DisconnecttheToroDIAGcablefromthemachine.
5.Installtheaccesspanelontotheoutercoverofthecontrolarm.
6.GotoReturningtheMachinetoService(page22)andfollowthestepslisted.

•Cuttingreelmotor1islocatedinthefront,centerposition.Thereare2electricalconnectionstothecutting
reelmotor:P46(4wire)andP47(2wire).
