Equipment
required:
Phillips screwdriver.
Warning
Step
1 -
Remove
the
Right
Heat
Sink
A.
Tum
off
the
generator. Disconnect
the
power
cord
from
the
wall
receptacle.
B.
Remove the five screws
that
secure
the
cover to
the
chassis. Lift
the
cover off the chassis. Set
the
cover
and
screws
aside
for reinstallation.
C.
Remove
the
Control
board.
(1)
Unlock
the
connector
on
the
Control
board
and
disconnect
the
display
board
ribbon
cable from
the
Control
board.
(2)
Carefully
slide
the
Control
board
straight
up
through
the
slots
on
the
heat
sinks to disconnect
it
from the
Power
Supply
/RF
board.
Set
the
board
aside
in
an
antistatic container for reinstallation.
D.
Remove
the
three
screws (one plastic
and
two
metal)
that
secure
the
support
bracket
to
the
heat
sinks. Save
the
screws
and
bracket
for
reinstallation.
E.
Disconnect
the
cable from
the
tank
damping
resistor
on
the
right
heat
sink
from J12
on
the
Power
Supply
/RF
board.
F.
On
the
right
side
of
the
chassis,
remove
the
two
screws
that
secure
the
base
of
the
right
heat
sink
to
the
rail
under
the
Power
Supply
/
RF
board.
Save
the
screws for reinstallation.
G.
Lift
the
heat
sink
to disconnect it from the
Power
Supply
/RF
board.
