Phillips
screwdriver
Surface
mount,
quad
pack
dup
extractor.
Note:
If
you
are
responding
to
a specific
alarm
number,
first calibrate the
ECON
factor
as
described
in
Section
5.
If
the
alarm
number
reappears
after
calibration,
complete
this
procedure.
1.
Turn
off
the
generator. Disconnect
the
power
cord
from
the
wall
receptacle.
2.
Remove
the
five screws
that
secure
the
cover
to
the
chassis. Lift
the
cover
off
the
chassis.
3.
Remove
the
Control
board.
a.
Unlock
the
connector
on
the
Control
board
and
disconnect
the
Display
Board
ribbon
cable
from
the
Control
board.
h.
Carefully slide
the
Control
board
straight
up
through
the
slots
in
the
heat
sinks
to disconnect
it
from
the
Power
Supply
/RF
board.
4.
On
the
Control
board,
verify
that
the
pins
on
programmable
IC U9
are
properly
seated
in
their
socket
on
the
Control
board.
a.
Grip
IC U9
with
the
chip
extractor
and
lift
it
out
of
its socket.
h.
Align
the
notch
on
IC U9 above
the
notch
on
the
socket
and
gently
press
the
chip
back
into
the
socket.
