Adding hydraulic oil
Removing the filler plug can cause oil to escape.
Accident hazard!
☞Carefully unscrew the plug to slowly reduce the pressure inside the oil res-
ervoir.
Do not add hydraulic oil unless the engine is stopped. Otherwise, hydraulic oil will overflow
at the filler opening on the hydraulic oil reservoir.
☞Park the machine on level ground
☞Lower the boom and the attachment as shown in fig. 27
☞Lower the stabilizer blade to the ground
☞Position the boom straight ahead
☞Stop the engine
☞Remove the key and carry it with you
☞Raise the control lever base
☞Let the engine cool down
☞Open the engine cover
☞Clean the area around filler opening with a cloth
☞Open the filler opening with tool no. 12 B
☞Add clean hydraulic oil through the screen
☞Check the hydraulic oil level on sight glass 28/A
☞Add if necessary and check again
☞Close the filler opening
☞Close and lock the engine cover
You can also refill through the return filter to avoid contamination of the hydraulic
oil as you add oil.
